WHY CHOOSE ADULT EDUCATION?
For more than 20 years the Adult Service Center at Presidio ISD has provided the community of Presidio with free adult education classes.
Whether you want to get a better job or have plans to pursue a college education, our classes are designed to help you build skills that can get you there. You may choose courses that feature classroom instruction by our faculty or distance learning classes that you can take at your convenience.

Classes Offered
GED PREP
The Adult Service Center provides a General Educationa Development (GED) Prep program where students can prepare to learn the skills necessary to succeed on the high school equivalency exam to earn a high school diploma by the State of Texas
ENGLISH
The goal of our ESL program is to provide the oppourtunity of all students to acquire knowlege and develop English proficieny to succeed in life and work. Some of our ESL students, after completing the program, continue their education by entering our GED program, and depning on therir
CIVICS AND CITIZENSHIP
Our citizenship class is intended to prepare students that are interested in becoming United States citizens. The course content will provide detailed information on the citizenship interview and test. Additionally, students will be introduced to the applicaiton and required documents for the naturalization process.
