EMPLOYEE CERTIFICATION INFORMATION:

All teachers and paraprofessional staff must be certified. 

• To create a Texas Education Agency TEAL Account, please click: TEAL LOGIN
• For certification information, please click: STATE BOARD FOR EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION (SBEC)
• To renew or apply for certification, please click: EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION ONLINE SYSTEM (ECOS)

Please note: To apply for certification on ECOS, you must have created a TEAL account login. 

INFORMATION REGARDING TESTING FOR TEACHERS:

As of September 1, 2018 all State Board Exams have a Limit of 5 exams, including all previous attempts before September 1, 2015. If you have exceeded your attempt limit, you may apply for a waiver from TEA. Waivers are most likely to be attained with proof of continuing education regarding the tested subject area. 

If you are a teacher looking for certifcation for EC-6 please considering taking the entire exam, remember, each test sitting is counted.

INFORMATION FOR PARAPROFESSIONAL STAFF REGARDING CERTIFICATION:

All paraprofessional staff must complete PROJECT PARA to apply for certification from the school distirct. Please contact Ms. Melendez (432-229-1185) to set up a Project Para account for your use.

Plan Highlights

Open enrollment for Health Insurance is only available during the beginning of the school year. Dates vary, but usually run form late July to early August. Special enrollment is only availble during special circumstances (birth of child, etc.). Please check with the buisness office for any questions.

If you are a new employee, you can enroll within 30 days of your hire date, please be sure to check with the business office to fill out all pertaining forms as soon as possible.
